“No one has ever become poor by giving.”
Anne Frank
As a small charity organization who is constantly seeking for donations, we are not able to provide our supporters with the well-known online payment methods, such as PayPal or payment with a credit card. This is especially problematic, as in order to display donation buttons on our site, we would need to upgrade the WordPress plan to use professional payments blocks, which of course cost money that we don’t have.
As a charity we also do not spend any money on technical maintenance of the website and on marketing measures, this is all done by Monika-our volunteer from Germany. Currently all received money goes to financing social well-being of Kigungu community.
We hope in the future to be able to sacrifice a small piece of donations to pay these technical amenities, which make the transfer process easier for you.
By now, we can offer you two payment possibilities, which are displayed below:
(we highly recommend you to donate via World Remit, the money transfer is clearly faster, and, likewise the ordinary money transfer, there are no immense fees involved)
Donate through World Remit
Mobile money is an electronic wallet service. This payment method is available in many countries and allows users to store, send, and receive money using their mobile phone.

Donations steps via World Remit:
- Click on the above link “Donate through World Remit”
- Select a mobile money payout network AIRTEL MOBILE ACCOUNTS
- Fill up data about the money recipient, just as on the screenshot below:

We assure you the money you transfer via World Remit arrives directly by Francis Lubuulwa– the founder of KigunguKids Educare, mostly within the same day.
Mobile money is available in a large number of countries and is especially popular in places where people are less likely to have bank accounts, or where banks charge high transfer fees.
This way of transferring money is charged with very low fees (0,99 EURO- as of 13.03.2021), all happens without hidden costs.
Donate through PayPal

Paypal is available in over 200 different countries, giving individuals the option to make cross-border payments and transfers via the app or website at PayPal.com. There’s one problem though — you can’t receive Paypal payments in Uganda and in most African countries except Nigeria and South Africa.
KigunguKids cannot recieve the money in Uganda, unless we have an account outside of the country. Our volunteer Monika from Germany, who is responsible for fundraising and communication can receive any donation via her PayPal account. She further trasnfers it to KigunguKids via WorldRemit (see on the left).
You can trust Monika and this fast payment method for 100%.
Please drop us a message us on social media or to kigungukids@gmail.com so that we can share Monika’s PayPal E-mail adress to you personally .

What our donors say
“Becoming a Godmother is way more than just being a sponsor. From now on you are faced with one of the most powerful forces of the earth- the smile of a child. And this gives so much motivation to keep on, no matter what.”
Monika Wiegand, Poland
“Every single person in the world deserves to be happy. I’m happy as well and surrounded with love. When I met Francis I was fascinated by his dedication to help those children, although he has almost nothing. Then I decided that the least I could do was to help him and make at least one child happier. I sincerely hope that this is true. I wish him to always be this dedicated and to help people in need.”
Detelina Dimova, Bulgaria
“I support one of the kingungu kids because with an small gesture I can change someone’s life and its important for me because that will make a difference in their future.”
