Food insecurity can be caused by a combination of factors, as is the case with the #Covid19 outbreak. Food crisis touched populations around the world, but Africa is especially threatened.
We at Kigungu Kids Ecucare try to help as much as we can. Some days we managed to serve 240 kgs of maize flour to 24 families in Kigungu. Those families have been suffering food shortages, also as a result of the pandemic. Each family received 10 kg of maize flour. This shows how badly the situation here on site looks like, as this amount of food is served only in crisis situations in Uganda. Everybody is very welcome to donate some money to secure the future for those poor families in Kigungu, for what we are more than grateful.
