While we usually focus on getting donations for the school fees and food for Kigungus kids, this time we’ve made a little turning point and decided to finance an event that we believe is for kids growth-enhancing. Kids who celebrate their birthday have a chance to better raise their self-esteem, strengthen family bonds, establish social relationships and create positive memories. Last Friday, thanks to one of our supporters- Lubanja’s godmother, and of course thanks to the founder of Kigungu Kids Educare- Francis Lubuulwa, we were able to celebrate Lubanja’s Birthday!
We are super grateful for creating an opportunity for that, as this doesn’t happen often in our village to host such an event.More impressions from the party in the next post! We hope we will be able to host more of such events in the future.
